Auburn University Admission. When you apply to Auburn, the Admissions Staff carefully assesses your academic potential. Each application is given personal consideration.

Admission standards are based on the quality of your high school grades as well as your score on either the American College Test (ACT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Auburn University requires that all incoming freshmen provide test scores, including the writing portion, from either the American College Test (ACT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) . No preference is given for either test and the highest composite score will be used for admission purposes. Transcript evaluation utilizes a 4.0 scale. A weighted GPA is utilized when included in the high school transcript. If a student attends a high school whose system does not provide a weighted GPA on a 4.0 scale, the high school may include a cover letter with the transcript indicating the student's weighted GPA.

Prospective students may apply by submitting:

* Online Application
* $50.00 Application Fee ($60.00 for International Students)
* Activities and Interests Form
* Official ACT and/or SAT scores (including the writing score)
* Official High School Transcript
